100°C are considered to be among the most talented pop-rock bands in Bohemia. Brant Rock, their newest release, makes us to accept this reputation. While previous albums of 100°C were closer to the rock genre, Brant Rock (in spite of its title) is more influenced by electronica and pop. It was a big step forward, because now the sound of 100°C is very solid and bright. In addition, the bandleader Jakub Joshua Johánek worked hard to improve his singing technique, and the effect is remarkable. Johánek´s voice became enough confident and „special“ to captivate audience. Thanks to the direction of an experienced producer Ecson Waldez album Brant Rock is a complex artistic piece which belongs to the best releases of spring.
