After being one of the guiding stars of the swedish electro-pop-movement during the first half of the 00's together with acts like Jens Lekman, The Embassy, The Radio dept and The Tough Alliance, Sarah Nyberg Pergament put her solo project Action Biker on hold. Instead she's been busy making stylish folk in The Kissing Mirrors, electro in Flow Flux Clan (a duo with Tomas Bodén from Differnet) and soft jazzy chamber pop in The Dreamers (a duo with Kevin Wright from Always and Mr Wright). Action Biker has come up with a new song occasionally and played live at special occasions. Between those other projects the desire for working as Action Biker again grew, and as a result the debut album of Action Biker, "Hisperian Pusto" (named after a park in Helsinki, where Nyberg Pergament lived for a while) was finally completed. The other projects are present in the new material through bits of electronica, jazz, bossa and some library music. Mixed with the sparse and catchty synth pop of early Action Biker it turns into sophisticated and playful electronic pop, dominated by Nyberg Pergaments excuisite vocals.
