Ardecore Ardecore has become a big reference in the scene of Rome, demonstrating that tradition and modernity can embrace each together giving astonishing results. With the incredible jazzcore band ZU to enliven the structures and Geoff Farina from Karate at the guitar, Ardecore tear your heart to the Roman dialectal tradition and transplants it in a musical body that mixes together various styles and references in oblique trajectories between folk, blues, rock, jazz. Stories dating back to the first half of the 20th century with a contemporary mood. As if Tom Waits and John Zorn were born below the shadows of the Colosseum trying to write a popular soundtrack for Roma. "Chimera" is a magnificent disc and we recommend to listen to it even if you’re not into Italian language. This could be your chance to visit the ancient Italian city while breathing European feelings. // Stefano Rocco
