The summer comes, the perfect moment to listen to a Barth’s record. Fortunate you are, this Frenchman just comes to release his third album which will not miss to put you in a good mood, as he had already made it two years ago with "Under The Trampoline" and its hit "The Last Wig". For the occasion, he recalls Mike Pelanconi aka Prince Fatty (Lily Allen, Graham Coxon, Dub Syndicate, Gregory Isaac) for the production, and offered to himself the services of an orchestra of twelve musicians among which horns and violins take us through dub, jamaican pop, surf rock and very beautiful folk songs. If such a variety can frighten, Barth adapts himself to it by effective melodies and its stamp of voice, even if he is unmistakably at his best level on the acoustic ballads whom is "Global Hero", "Doggy Fight", and the excellent "Magic Wondermeal", certainly the best title of this record. That is doubtless! With such hymns, this summer will be also warm as in 2006
