Beta Satan are fearless when it comes to constructing the songs on their debut album. Electronica is followed by funky beats which are followed by metal from hell. The attitude is aggressive, the guitar riffs are heavy and the lyrics are (tongue-in-cheek) sexist. In addition, the band is borrowing heavily from classic indie rock (i.e. Pixies) as well as post-punk (i.e. Interpol) and modern indie rock (i.e. Arctic Monkeys), but still they sound very much like themselves. By the way, the band is formed by, among others, the former singer and the the former drummer of the now defunct Tiger Tunes who gained some success in Germany with their sole album from 2003.
