When Parisians decide to form a band, it's not always garage rock..... Formed by Benoit Guivarch (vocals/guitar) and Antoine Kerinon (drums), two-piece Carp have successfully managed to mix folk-jazz and atmospheric rock in a very simple and pure way. Carp's first album is a seemingly improbable meeting of Radiohead and Piers Faccini that speaks freely of former teenage fears - a cool, jazzy sound combined with bare folk-rock.
