Costanza Francavilla is famous for having been the vocalist of Tricky - she sang in one track of Blowback (2001) and in all those of Vulnerable (2003) - but she alone proved to be, besides a great singer, also a mature producer and a talented songwriter. "Sonic Diary" has 90s sound, downtempo rythms and trip hop atmosphere (although it would be a mistake to consider it only a trip hop album). It's a small pearl of digital music, balanced in all its parts and with very touching songs. // Sandro Giorello
