Deluxe is Xoel López, a young but already veteran activist in the indie pop scene in Spain. "Fin de un viaje infinito" ("End of an infinite journey") is his second album sung 100% in Spanish and his first album for a multinational company as EMI. This record is probably the best of his long career and the best to taste for the first time his great blend of psychedelics, classical pop (Bowie, The Beatles, T- Rex or The Who) and acoustic folk with a quite peculiar melancholic and rainy day kind of feeling inside almost every song like cream inside a donut. The formula is based upon clean melodies, electric and acoustic guitars, some horns, some keyboards and Xoel’s honest voice singing quite interesting lyrics about being the last one at a party, waiting for the best to come, being afraid of failing, love and leaving.
