Rock Werchter is the biggest music festival in Belgium, located in the small village of Werchter. It kicked off in 1977 and has grown ever since. In 2003 Clear Channel Entertainment became the owner of Rock Werchter and added an extra day, making it a four day festival. The editions of 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007 have received the Arthur Award for best festival in the world.
