Don´t make other plans for JULY 25-26: you won't want to miss the Soundlabs Festival, now in its 12th year and being held once again at the Fonte dell'Olmo football stadium in Roseto degli Abruzzi, Italy, just a few short steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches of the Adriatic Coast. The bands confirmed so far include Mogwai, Blonde Redhead, Micah P. Hinson, Girls in Hawaii, Offlaga Disco Pax, Lightspeed Champion, and Port-Royal.

This year's lineup reflects a new emphasis on international independent music. By expanding our focus, we want to give Soundlabs room to develop its identity on the European festival stage by bringing more exciting, international independent music to Italy while still highlighting some of the most original and distinctive voices on the Italian music scene. The 2008 program includes two very diverse Italian bands: Port-Royal are Italian but their music has its roots elsewhere, while Offlaga Disco Pax represent a different Italy, with a style so original that they define their own genre. And with artists coming from Texas and New York City in the US, from England, Belgium, and Scotland, you could almost say that this year's program is a passport that can transport you around the world. Some of the bands taking the stage in Roseto this year will also be making Soundlabs their only Italian appearance, including Mogwai, Micah P. Hinson, Girls in Hawaii, Lightspeed Champion.

Our promotional activities for this year's Soundlabs Festival have expanded to France, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, and Austria. Soundlabs 2008 not only brings you two nights of the best international independent music to be heard on the Adriatic coast, but also days under palm trees on wide sundrenched beaches by the clear blue sea, with the snow-capped Appenin mountains lining the horizon - not to mention enjoying the delicious food of Abruzzo!

July 25th: 26 euro + 2 euro commission
July 26th: 29 euro + 2 euro commission
Two-day: 42 euro + 3 euro commission
