Festival in Europe: Traffic - Torino Free Festival

The Traffic Torino Free Festival has grown a lot from its first version in 1994. During the years on its stage the likes of Massive Attack, Iggy Pop, Aphex Twin or Manu Chao have been playing, making this event grow to almost 200.000 people for 2006 edition. This year, when the festival was finally getting to an international level, there were rumors that the festival was dead. Yet, it is still around, alive and kicking, with its usual attractive schedule and, most importantly, still free. Line-up includes Lou Reed, Daft Punk, LCD Soundsystem, Arctic Monkeys, Art, Franco Battiato, Antony & The Johnsons. // Benedetto Delle Piane
