The colourful and slightly eccentric piano-pop on debut Until Death Comes made critics compare Frida Hyvönen to Kate Bush and Laura Nyro. The sophomore album is music composed for renowned choreographer Dorte Olesens dance performance Pudel. The songs are equally dramatic but the sound is richer, the piano is accompanied by lush strings and choirs. Pudel is meant to be the first offering in a series of experimental works where Hyvönen intededs to put out whatever she feels like; from spoken word to film music and swing. // Lars Jämtelid
