There is little doubt that Jens Lekman is a genius singer, songwriter and producer, but Lekman doesn't really trust himself when it comes to decide which songs that fits together. For a while he considered never to release another album ever again, but then he changed his mind and in order to avoid the agony of making the tracklist, he left it to some of his closest friends to decide which songs to put on "Night falls over Kortedala". He simply passed around about 30 songs and put the ones that got the most votes on the album. Voila, and there you have one of the best and most acclaimed pop albums of the year!
