John Dahlbäck The 23 year old veteran John Dahlbäck has been making music since he was 15. Partly on his own and partly in the duo Hugg & Pepp with his cousin Jesper Dahlbäck. The solo stuff is released on his own label Pickadoll (wich also hosts artists like Zoo Brazil, Özgür Can and Sébastien Léger) and Hugg & Pepp releases their records on the two cousins joint label Dahlbäck Records. Lately Dahlbäcks house and techno have taken a more melodic and colourful turn. More in the style of swedish house/technostars like Eric Prydz, Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. This tendency is evident on the club hit ’Hustle Up’, released earlier this year, and is confirmed on "Winners & Fools", Dahlbäcks fifth album. Uptempo vocal tunes are mixed with slightly mellow instrumental tracks in well balanced journey. From the sunny 'Sidewalk', with elements of bitpop, to the David Guetta-esque anthem ’World of Love’ and the highlight of Winners & Fools; the blissful electro pop hit ’I Had a Feeling’ where Dahlbäck is up there with Alan Braxe and Fred Falke. // Lars Jämtelid
