Aarhus based Larsen And Furious Jane has already made two masterpieces with the band's first two albums but has never gained the audience the orchestra deserves, neither in nor outside Denmark. Whether it happens this time, one never knows, but let’s cross our fingers. The new album is quite different from its predecessors. The acoustic based melancholy of the first two albums has turned into something more aggressive and sometimes even noisy. But in the heart of darkness you’ll find plenty of catchy tunes, distinguished arrangements and happy, hopeful moments. The lyrics, however, are still more or less depressive and go very well with the deep vocals of singer-songwriter Torsten Larsen.
