Many German bands try to create music that is completely different from the existing german indie pop cliché. Young band "Lichter" managed to present a long-awaited debut-album, which is strong, impressive and highly applauded by the critics. Their recipe is a mixture of harmonic melodies, pushing guitars and drums. Sustainability is the keyword, without stencils they created their own way of expressing themselves. A strong atmosphere rules above the songs and makes them very absorbing. “Lichter” are presently probably one of the most talented German bands, with great expectations what is to come next. // tore / tamara
