"Winter" is not supposed to be the third full length album by Locas In Love, but likes to be seen as a record for winter time. It is minimalistically orchestrated and plainly produced. A hint where part of the album has been recorded are some co-musicians, who contributed on "Winter." Such as Id Beghtol (the Magnetic Fields) and Sam Lazzara (a percussionist from New York). Right, part of the album has been recorded in a living room in New York, the other part has been recorded in a living room in Cologne. And though the technical possibilities must have been limited the album was recorded in a very perfectionist way. It is not as powerful as their previous record "Saurus", but as it is supposed to be a winter album that is quite appropriate. There a different songs that create a very peaceful atmosphere, so you feel like a making a cup of tee, to snuggle into a blanket, watch the snow fall down and get lost into the lovely songs. // Mawe / Tamara
