If I tell you that Love of Lesbian is surely one of the best spanish bands I am not afraid of being wrong. Not for a second. Furthermore, their last album, Maniobras de Escapismo was one of the best pop albums in Spanish of all times (they used to sing in English before). This spring they release Cuentos Chinos para Niños del Japón (Chinese Stories for Japanese Boys)... and it is pretty clear that they haven't lost one inch of their magic potion. Intelligent, sometimes melancholic, some other times cynical, but always great pop music with no easy to find connections with any other band. Wonderful, dreamy and catchy songs like Universos Infinitos (Infinite Universe), La Niña Imantada (Magnet Girl) or Noches Reversibles (Reversible Nights)... A Spanish band in a (brilliant) French label, Naïve, is also a funny data to remark.
