Still Need a Kiss is a disk which knocks at once by its capacity to hold you in weightlessness, and, which from the opening Snowing Downtown, suspends you very high in an attractive mixture of light and melancholy. We find in Mai, as in Mazzy Star, this beautiful envy to bet on the slowness to transform the introspection into a sweet material. On this first and very successful album, we can find disturbing elliptic laments: we think of Voices from the North, to the powerful En fait but also to Will You Find Me. And if the world is fair, it is Silly, a magnificent pop title, that radios should already extract.
