Just after the release of their self titled debut album husband and wife Mats Björk and Jessica Breitholtz Björk wrote a bunch of new songs. A couple of months later when they started recording they discovered that the new material was better suited for a more acoustic sound, in contrast to the mellow folktronica on the debut album. The called in some friends to play drums, violins and flute and created Beautiful Days. A beauty of an album where uptempo poppy folk meets passages of dreamlike psychadelia and soft singer/songrwriter-tunes. // Lars Jämtelid
