MIT is a small electro combo from cologne, who early started off playing with bands like Shitdisco, Test Icicles and The Long Blondes – and now released their second EP „Was War Es“ („What Was It“). The record starts with seven songs, all of them are carrying you away, right onto the dance hall of your bedroom. You seem to get lost in the powerful and not so common noises MIT presents you. Important to mention though, that all of the songs sound diffenerent and have a special feature each making it to a catchy tune. Five remixes follow, all conected to the title of the EP, but all of them pretty different. Known artists like Rory Aggwelt (Ex – Test Icicles) and Thies Mynther (inter alia producer of Miss Kittin). Hopefully MIT will release an album that is as strong as the the EP is, a difficult venture though. // Tamara / Tore
