Radiation, the second album from Gothenburg duo Pistol Disco is a bit softer than the debut Two from last year. Still the noisecore that Mikael Enqvist and Alexander Palmestål creates is laser sharp, like a mix of Suicide, early The Jesus and Mary Chain and a roaring jet engine. Metallic drones, distorted beats, and silent screams slowly builds into patterns where colurs and melodies gradually become visible. Violent and loud yet beautiful. But the best way to experience Pistol Disco is probably live, it's a blinding show. // Lars Jämtelid
