Salvador is a band from Kortrijk in the far west of Belgium. They describe their music as "postrockish instrumental tunes in the vein of Red Sparowes and Explosions In The Sky, but with a hard rocking twist." On their untitled debut ep they mix, just like Explosions and fellow postrockers Mogwai, seemingly endless soundscapes with errupting noise escapades. The ep contains only four songs - but three of them last for more then seven minutes. Knowing this, it's quite an accomplishment for a beginning band to hold the listeners attention. Opener 'Seaside Suicide' is a perfect example of how exciting this music sounds. Check out their MySpace! // Jeroen Michiel
