"Afterbeat Generation", Servo’s fourth delivery, uses in abundance of this freedom that he grants himself and who authorizes him some distances, always of good taste, towards the pop, the hardcore, or the noise, with an approach leaving the big door opened to the surprises contributing, for a long time, to the coolness of its directory. Certainly, this new album will revolutionize nothing, but Servo intended there by no means, preferring so far to get down to make a personal work, the reflection of what the music represents for him: a real pleasure that he likes agreeing, and sharing with those who will indeed want to listen to it. "Afterbeat Generation" transpires it through each of the songs. The rock 'n' roll is never so convincing as when it is cleared of any ulterior motive and superficiality.
