You don’t have to figure Settlefish as an Italian band. A lot of our issues in 2007 sound international, but these Bolonaise guys really are: not only for a 200 days tour across Europe and US, but also ‘cause their frontman Jonathan comes from Canada. He obviously speaks a perfect English and well, I consider him to be the best indie male voice in Italy right now. “Oh dear!” is maybe the band’s most poppish cd, friend-in-law of Modest Mouse, fresh ad urgent: if you won’t feel “Summer drops” or “Whirlwind in delivery” you fake your ears, or your heart at least! “Oh dear!” sounds really professional and keeps a home-recording attitude at once: that still means indie, doesn’t it?
