„S.O.I.L. is a group of people making music without prejudice and any regard to genre or style.“ This headline (taken from S.O.I.L. webpage) is the simpliest and the aptest description of the Prague-based band. Singer Zuzana Kropáčová and her fellow musicians (prominent Czech jazz musicians) have recently brought out an album called Looking Back, which is their third official release. Most songs of this album were composed by the pianist and composer Jakub Zitko, who has got highly developed feeling for melody and great arranging skills. Therefore the music of S.O.I.L. is not only tuneful and pleasing, but also resourceful and well-knit. S.O.I.L. have got the potential for gaining popularity among musical laymen and experts as well.
