This boy/girl duo has already obtained a lot of international hype since they were applauded by Rolling Stone critic Dave Fricke. An international Sony Music deal, apartments in the US, world tours and David Letterman appearances followed but not yet the big international breakthrough. Back on an indie label, The Raveonettes have released their third and best album. Their usual combination of 60’s pop Phil Spector/Wall of Sound-pop, noisy guitar rock reminiscent of The Jesus And Mary Chain and unison boy/girl vocals is also present here, but with a more personal touch and tunes catchier than ever.
