Musically, The Wong Boys aka singer Frank Ziyanak (also known from the garage rock band Death To Frank Ziyanak) and programmer Stefan Kvamm are acting somewhere between sloppy hillbilly rock with Shaun Rhyder attitude and electro excesses. Excesses who pendle between digging hi-energy rave and dance aesthetics and expressing raw and dark electro energy. This results in party-ready escapades – like the radio singles ”Git Ur Fuk On” and ”Hole Ye Horzies” - as well as dark and deeply serious passages – like ”Peasant Stare” and the almost beat-less ”Original Trademark” - on a debut album which is spell-binding as well as highly original. // Thomas Borre
